I'm currently listening to the single "I Say" by Alisa Childers from her self-titled debut solo album!
My fav lyrics? Alisa is such a phenomenal songwriter so it's hard to choose, the chorus does a great job of summing up the moral of the song, "But I say can't we all get along / I say they will know us by our love / How can the foot judge the eye and say why / Can't you see what I see / Cause from my view, you're too high"
As Christians, sometimes we can be 'too high' forgetting to simply show love to our fellow man. Sometimes we over complicate the message of the Gospel and get caught up in differences in theological opinion and the result is dissension within the Body of Christ. God calls Christians to 'be a light in the world', the number one way of doing that is through showing love. Sometimes making a difference in this world is as simple as that.

Kristin Swinford-Schweain has released her solo debut album Days of Eden and along with Chrissy Conway-Katina has formed the new group Colman Blue ! Colman Blue is currently in the studio recording their first album!

"God’s boldness is amazing! We wanted to reflect the empowerment that He gives us in this song.
Jesus took such a powerful stand for us on the Cross, and He didn't back down. As Christians we have so much to be thankful for and hopeful about. We wanted this song to be full of the enthusiasm and excitement that comes with standing up and following God with full force and without reservation."
SKIN DEEP
"How do we, as young women, rise above the pressures of a culture that dictates and defines beauty and worth merely by physical standards? He covered us in skin, but not to encase our souls and crush our spirits. And Jesus, more than anyone, felt that incredibly great burden of flesh when He took on human form. But when He died and overcame death He freed us from the destructive and sinful trap of "self ".
We are His precious. His redeemed. We are His, regardless of packaging. I'm begging to more clearly understand that the exterior shell that often suffocates us, is a shell that cannot forever entrap us. God made us more than skin deep. He made us for His glory and in His image. That runs deeper than skin. It is eternal."
