ITT:Touring...recording...writing...family & friend time...you time...how do you balance having a "quiet time" with God? You know, Bible study, prayer, just hanging with Him. What are some disciplines that have really helped you keep God as the focus of your life that you'd like to share with the InTheTimes.com girls?
Michelle: I have a quiet time because I need that time with God, as a refreshment and renewal. I notice that if I don't have a quiet time, I get anxious about things and a bit irrational.

Christine Prankard on Patience...
Thursday, November 27th, 2008 at 8:19 AM by Ruth Tynes / Online Editor / InTheTimes.com
ITT:What's something really cool that God has been teaching you recently in life?
Christine: God has been teaching me to be patient and rejoice in Him always.
With this ministry, stuff goes wrong all of the time. I usually like to not know what's going on in a situation, but in this business you usually never know until the day of.
I tend to be uptight if things don't go the way I thought, so God is teaching me that it is okay, because He has it all figured out.

Pam Walker on Attitude...
Wednesday, November 26th, 2008 at 8:47 AM by Ruth Tynes / Online Editor / InTheTimes.com
ITT:What's something really cool that God has been teaching you recently in life?
Pam: God has been teaching me a lot about attitude. It's so important to watch your attitude, because it reflects a lot about your character.
Sometimes I struggle with letting little mishaps or problems get to me and ruin my mood, when really I should be rejoicing in the Lord always. This is a struggle for me sometimes, but God is revealing the importance of this. Philippians 4:4 is played in my head a lot.
Another thing God has been teaching me, is to be still and know that He is God. So often, it can be easy to constantly be on the go and be doing something, and forget to stop and listen to what God has to say.

Courtney Myers on Quiet Time with God...

What are some disciplines that have really helped you keep God as the focus of your life that you'd like to share with the InTheTimes.com girls?
Courtney: On tour it can be very difficult to find a quiet place. But once I got into a routine, I set a time for myself every day that would work best for me to get into God's word. If I don't set that time aside with the Lord, I'm a mess the rest of the day!

Q: Can I ask God for forgiveness too much? I feel guilty asking for the same things...
Monday, November 24th, 2008 at 12 AM by Ruth Tynes / Online Editor / InTheTimes.com
A: Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name
of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
Asking God to forgive us of our sins is central to salvation. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:22-24)
Once we have received God's salvation, He gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26)
Use the Holy Spirit's help! Ask God to help you do the following:
#1 Write down the areas that you struggle with.
#2 Find out what God has to say about these issues by reading the Bible. Use a Bible concordance to help you find specific verses on the areas you struggle with.
#3 Develop a plan of action! Examine why you slip in these areasisolate the who, what, when, where, why, and how's.
Know that you can never exhaust the forgiveness of God! neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
In Matthew 18:21-35, the LORD gives us a pattern for forgiving each other, saying that we should forgive your brother from your heart This pattern carries over into our asking the LORD for forgiveness...it must be heartfelt! Often times we say, 'I know that God loves me and that technically, He has to forgive me. So, I'll just sin anyway...because He has to forgive me when I eventually ask for it.'
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:7-9)
