InTheTimes.com Fashion Channel Holiday Fashion Ideas Ruby Red and Black

Hi InTheTimes.com Girls!

Are you looking for something casual and comfy to wear during the Holidays? You know, for that day out shopping with family / friends, that casual Christmas or New Year's Party, attending a Special Event around town, or a casual Church Service?

Don't sacrifice glamour for comfort! Check out this gorgeous Ruby Red Tunic that we found!

During colder weather try layering a Basic Black Turtleneck underneath for extra warmth. Pair it with sleek Black Bootcut Jeans, and of course don't forget fash Black Boots for a sophisticated look!

To finish off the ensemble, we found an equally glam Zebra Print Oversized Purse!

The great thing about this outfit is that all of the pieces mix 'n' match really well with other pieces in your wardrobe and some pieces can be worn beyond Fall / Winter!

Keep any jewelry simple. Experiment with your hair and make-up to find a style that you think best suits you.

Enjoy!

InTheTimes.com Fashion Channel Holiday Fashion Ideas Bronze

Hi InTheTimes.com Girls!

Are you looking for something unique to wear for that semi-formal Christmas or New Year's event? Try wearing Bronze!

Bronze is a festive color that can be subtle yet fabulous!

We found an ultra fabulous Bronze Metallic Skirt and paired it with a Basic Black Turtleneck.

Because you want to be festive and glam, yet not over-the-top and tacky, Basic Black helps calm the outfit down.

For an innocent girlie-girl look, we added Black Patent Leather Mary Jane-style Heels.

Don't forget to stay warm by wearing Jet Black Stockings / Pantyhose.

To finish off the ensemble, we found an equally ultra glam Bronze Clutch. Gotta luv the detail--beads and sequins!

If you wear any jewelry keep it simple, such as a delicate bracelet, ring, or earrings. Experiment with your hair and make-up to find a style that you think best suits you.

Enjoy!

RUTH

"I like to wear my hair up a lot of times, so I do "the messy look." I just pin my hair up in bobby pins and pretty much hope that it turns out. Sometimes I may add a broach or a hair clip to put a little "bling" in it."

Blush Basics

InTheTimes.com Fashion Channel Blush Basics

Q: How do I decide what color of blush to use?

A: To prevent yourself from looking like a clown at the circus, it's best to go for a natural colored Blush.

Next time you're exercising, embarrassed, or flushed, look in the mirror and take note of your natural blushing color. When you shop for make-up, look for a shade similar to that color!

More info to know about wearing Blush:

+ Looking for the best Blush application method? #1 - Smile! #2 - Notice where your cheek "apples" (the circular part that goes up when you smile) begin and end. #3 - When applying your Blush, start with the apples of your cheeks and proceed up towards your temples. See the diagram above.

+ Want a more dramatic Make-Up look? Invest in a palette of Blush colors and experiment with colors in your spare time!

+ Make sure that your Blush and Lip Color do not overpower each other. Instead, seek to have the two compliment each other.

+ Make sure that you keep clean Blush Brushes! If they get too dirty or out of shape, trash them and buy new!

+ Don't share Blush Brushes with friends... You're sharing more than Blush--bacteria from each others face that cause blemishes!

+ Take care of your Blush Brushes! Properly store them and don't simply leave them laying around collecting unnecessary bacteria from the surrounding environment...you are only applying bacteria to your face which causes unnecessary blemishes!

"I've always loved hair and make-up! As my taste has evolved in the last few years, I have a deeper appreciation for natural products.

My favorite hair products are Aveda (my sister and her husband own an Aveda salon). Not only do they smell and work fabulous, they are natural as well.

I use their skin products as well. They also carry cosmetics, although I have to say that my new favorite is Bare Escentuals. It feels very light on, and covers great. I love that it is all minerals, and non-irritating to the skin."
