"Less is more! Until I became an artist and was sort of thrust (delightfully) into this new world of photo shoots with access to expensive skin care, make-up, and hair products...I was pretty happy splurging on a new tube of lip gloss at Target.

Once I had a bank account that financed the same moisturizer that I'd read Courtney Cox used, the sky was the limit. And I can honestly say, that stuff became a bit of an idol for me...because there is never an end to it. You never look in the mirror and say, "Yes! I am finally soooo happy with the results!"

Once I figured that out...I've made a slow but steady return to my "old" self. Of course I want to look nice...but I can tell immediately when that part of my life has become too important, so I make adjustments.

Most days I wear a little concealer, some blush, powder, and mascara. If I'm on stage, I'll wear a bit more."

Lindsey Kane's Beauty Day

ITT: Girls just love to hear about other girls beauty regimes, what's a typical Lindsey Kane beauty day like?

Lindsey: A typical beauty day differs based on what I'm doing that day. If I'm running errands or hanging out with friends, I'll wear casual clothes, a ponytail, and little-to-no make-up. But on days when I'm traveling, performing, or attending an event, I'll typically wear some make-up.

I wash my face every morning and every night. I love wearing no make-up, it makes me feel so natural and clean!

I like to wash my hair with my fav shampoo and conditioner from Tigi called Bed Head, which is very appropriate because sometimes I wake up and my hair looks so scary, something right out of a horror movie.

Then I blow dry my hair using a curl brush, typically I'll straighten it a bit to make it less wavy with CHI Flat Iron.

Then I'll put on some powder, light blush, and mascara. The best mascara I'm convinced is the purple tube from CoverGirl, that stuff is amazing!

As far as style goes, I love wearing my favorite jeans, a cute shirt, and maybe some cool jewelry. I love wearing comfy shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops. I have said many times that flip flops are one of man's finest inventions.

To you InTheTimes.com girls reading this, be yourself. The most beautiful thing you can do for yourself is to be yourself. Don't try to be, act, or look like anyone else. You were created to be YOU and you are unique! There is no one else like you, so be proud of who God has made you.

Wear what makes you comfortable, as long as it doesn't upset your parents or teachers of course! BE YOU, because that's who you were created to be and BE REAL.

Caroline Williams on Fashion

"I go from one extreme to the other. If we have an interview or a show, I spend a lot of time making sure my hair and make-up are just right and picking out the perfect outfit to wear.

But, on the days we are rehearsing, I wear sweats, no make-up and my hair all piled up in a messy bun on top of my head.

As for fashion tips, my favorite things to wear are leggings, Ugg boots, Chanel earrings, and layers -- tanks and cute tops layered over each other and skirts or dresses layered over jeans or leggings."
