"I have dry, curly hair. I don't own a brush, hair dryer, or comb.
I wash my hair every 2-5 days and sometimes I'll only rinse my hair and just do the conditioner. I use LOTS o' product and I let it dry naturally.
Then I'll shape it with a curling iron--I have to get a really hot one and then I can do my hair pretty quickly. Then I'll spray a heat protecting shine spray on each curl."

A: Keep soft and healthy skin during winter months by...
+ After you shower, immediately and liberally apply lotion to your body to lock in moisture.
+ In extreme cold weather, make sure to wear gloves to help protect your hands. Carry a small bottle of lotion in your purse and don't be afraid to apply often, when your hands feel dry.
+ Utilize a moisturizing lip gloss / lipstick. Don't be afraid to apply moisturizing lip gloss even if you have 'no where to go' and will be hanging out around the house. This is a great time to replenish the moisture in your lips taken away by harsh cold weather, sun, and lipstick.
+ Utilize layers, such as cotton turtlenecks, tanks, and camisoles to further protect your skin from potentially itchy and irritating winter sweaters.
+ Stay healthy! Make sure to eat a balanced diet, drink lots of water, keep your body warm, exercise, get enough sunlight, and get enough sleep! Don't be afraid to bundle up (indoors or outdoors) even though you might feel silly... You'll be happy that you can enjoy your Winter instead of wasting it being sick!

"In my opinion, the best thing any girl can do for herself is to try to never go to bed without washing her face. A good cleanser, toner, and oil-free moisturizer are a great asset to any girl's regimen.
Kind of a fun tip I learned years ago is to run your eyelash curler under hot water before you curl your lashes…it really makes a difference! (Disclaimer : TEST it first with your finger before applying it to your lashes!)"

"If I'm going to be working at home, I usually wake up, brush my teeth, drink some tea, and realize at about 9 pm that I'm still in my pajamas.
Other than that, I'm a real girly girl when it comes to products. On a day where I'm going to be out and about, I jump in the shower and use my favorite soap of all time. It's a lavender soap that's made by Whole Foods Market. I'm a real natural girl. Don't let the chandelier earrings and high heeled black boots fool you. Deep inside me there's a granola eating, canvas bag toting tree hugger just dying to be let out! If I could make my own toothpaste out of twigs and leaves from my backyard, I totally would.
After showering, I love to slather on Papaya body lotion by Nature's Gate (big surprise). When it comes to make-up, lately I'm in this eyeliner phase. I'm normally not much of an eyeliner girl, but I must be trying to get in touch with my inner gypsy or pirate or something. Pop makes these beautiful shimmery eyeliners called "Glitter Stix" that I love. The colors are so rich and vibrant, and there is just a hint of sparkle. Last night my husband told me that he noticed how much my eyes sparkle. I told him he can thank my inner gypsy.
My current favorite lip glosses are Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips. I have about four of them, and they plump your lips without drying them out. This is a difficult task known only to those who love plumping lip gloss.
Me and fashion are not always friends. I would love to say that I have adept knowledge about all the latest designers and fads (actually, this is not true as I am always trying not to follow fads, but you know what I mean!) I get giddy with excitement when I find a good, cheap tank top that fits well and is comfy."
