ITT: How did you meet your husband Mike? How is he an encouragement to you, and what advice would you like to give InTheTimes.com girls when it comes to finding the Godly 'man of their dreams' ?

Christina: My husband Mike and I met at a Bible study. I turned around, his smile caught me off guard...and the rest is history! (smile!)

It actually all happened when neither of us expected it. I was pursuing my relationship with Jesus as my best friend, my first love, my life... Emotionally I had been through a relationship that had drained me of who I was (which I share about in a song called “Take Me In”) and after that I gave all of my broken pieces and committed myself to Him, until He saw fit for me to meet my someone.

My time of singleness was SO precious. I look back and see how God used that season to draw me in to Him, to find my identity as a child of the King... I was completely satisfied in Him and when the Lord dropped Mike into my life, he was just an incredible extension of God's love for me...an added blessing to a life that was already so full in Jesus!

Mike and I were married on August 6, 2005. The Lord has blessed us in so many ways, mainly, I think because we were committed to honoring Him and honoring each other in and through our dating relationship. We really focused on our friendship and getting to know each other on a spiritual level, which laid an incredible foundation for our marriage. And though at times it was hard to wait and people think I'm crazy even to admit it... (smile!) I was 21 years old and a Mrs. when I had my first kiss...and it was in front of 400 people! One of the most nerve wracking moments of my life! But worth the wait...

I just want to encourage you my dears, to draw near to Jesus. Make Him your first love and use this time as preparation to become a woman of Him, a woman of purpose, a woman who delights in her Savior. Pray for your future husband and allow the Lord to guide you in your relationships, so that someday you can look back without regrets and give yourself fully to your someone. He will be worth waiting for!!!

If you have fallen into pressures, know that there is forgiveness, there is grace, and there is restoration at the foot of the cross. Give Jesus your broken pieces and He will make you whole again.

Cherie Adams 'Once Upon a Time' Real Life Love Story

ITT: How did you meet your husband Kevin? How is he an encouragement to you, and what advice would you like to give InTheTimes.com girls when it comes to finding the Godly 'man of their dreams' ?

Cherie: I absolutely love talking about Kevin!!! He is truly a prince!!! I know you are probably thinking that I'm exaggerating, but I'm telling you, I really did marry a prince. There is no one in the world that supports me or my dreams more than Kevin.

I met him at a wedding, you see I was always the bridesmaid and never the bride!! I absolutely hated being single and I hated even more the whole idea of buying some ugly poofy satin dress with shiny shoes that don't match anything else. But nevertheless, I agreed to be the bridesmaid in this particular wedding, because my friend Marianne was just such a great friend to me and it just simply came right down to being a servant and obedience to God!!!

Well, it just so happened to be the best decision I ever made in my life! When I was introduced to the “man” I was going to be escorted by down the aisle, I had no idea that “man” was going to be my husband 11 months later in that same mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. He was the most beautiful man I had ever met in my life, I thought surely this has got to be the devil just tempting me!!! Hahaha, I mean he was really that beautiful and still is. Immediately I thought, there's got to be something wrong with him, a man this pretty has got to be bad!!!!

As it turned out, not only was he gorgeous, but he was also a hero, a Los Angeles police officer and he totally loved God. In fact, on one of our early dates, he had told me that he had been praying that God would show him some new things spiritually in his life. He is a man of God. It is vital in this day and age that you pray for a man of God and nothing less. I never have to worry about my husband hanging out in bars, not going to church, etc. My husband is a man of God and let me tell you this important fact. The Bible says, “Wives submit yourselves to your husbands.” Well, it's a lot easier to submit yourself to a man of God than to a man of the world. Trust me girls, there is nothing sweeter, nothing more handsome than a man who loves God first and you second!!!

My advice to you girls is to stay pure and be patient. I know as you get older, the temptations become greater, but trust me, if I could save myself for my husband, you can do it too. He's worth the wait. Staying pure is never easy, but it honors God and if you do stay pure, God will honor you. It doesn't matter what you've done in your past, we've all made mistakes but all that matters now is what you do from this point on, so make a decision to stay pure and stick with it.

Pray for your husband, whoever and wherever he is. You can also make a list of everything you want in a husband. I did this and you wouldn't believe it, but I actually listed his hair color and eye color and Kevin is exactly what I wanted, even though at the time, I thought my list was silly. Make the list and seal it in an envelope, then offer your list of desires to God. Put it away and don't open it until the day you get married. When you offer it to God, tell the Lord that you know that He knows what's best for you and that you are willing to accept the man He has for you, even if He doesn't have every single detail on this list. Then sit back and allow the Lord to write your love story, the right way, so that you can ultimately have “The Sweet Life” !

ITT: How did you meet your husband Ryan? How is he an encouragement to you, and what advice would you like to give InTheTimes.com girls when it comes to finding the Godly 'man of their dreams' ?

Kristin: My husband Ryan and I met in high school. We were set up by our two best friends who happened to be brother and sister. He and I were both in choir together and had known each other, but not very well.

I'll never forget as the matchmaking was in it's beginning stages -- Ryan working up the courage to walk to class with me. It was raining that day, and he came up and got under the umbrella I was holding, and I don't think we said a word to each other except "hi" as we walked! We were both too shy!

Eventually he called me and we went on our first date, and honestly he has had my heart since!

Ryan is a huge encouragement to me. He has always been extremely supportive of my music and has always cheered me on in pursuing my dreams. He has stood by me, and is always so positive and brings a great deal of calm and level-headedness since I have a tendency to get carried away with worry sometimes.

My advice to any girl is to be patient in waiting on the one God has for you, and to make Him the center of all your relationships. God has someone who will love, cherish, and respect you for all the right reasons, and you shouldn't settle for anything less!

Adie Camp 'Once Upon a Time' Real Life Love Story

ITT: Your husband and fellow Recording Artist Jeremy, truly is a partner in ministry with you, how did you meet, how is he an encouragement to you, and what advice would you like to give InTheTimes.com girls when it comes to finding the Godly 'man of their dreams' ?

Adie: Jeremy and I met on a three month long tour in 2002. We became really good friends first and quickly realized that we could have a future together...

Jeremy has always been a huge encouragement to me to put the Lord first in everything. I have never met a man or a family like The Camp family, who live out their walk with the Lord more faithfully and honestly than they do.

It was always a deep desire of mine not only to marry a Godly man, but to marry into a family who truly love the Lord with all of their hearts and lives. I feel so blessed to be in their family.

My advice for the sweet girls who are looking for their husbands, not to sound harsh, but, stop looking! Let God choose him for you. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you... =)

When I first met Jeremy, God was changing my heart deeply and I was enjoying my “alone” time with Him so much that I didn't think very much of Jeremy with regard to dating. As we hung out and became good friends, I was so encouraged and challenged by his heart for God and his example to me of loving Jesus wholeheartedly. I respected him so much and realized that he was who I wanted to marry.

If you had asked me before that, what type of person I thought I needed, it would have been SO completely different from Jeremy, until God brought him along and I realized that the Lord knows me WAY better than I know myself. God loves us and He is trustworthy to give us what's best for us. Praise the Lord I have such an incredible husband and best friend.
