We don't have enough girls to start a Girls Ministry!
By Ruth Tynes / Online Editor / InTheTimes.com Girls Ministry
"I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." (Luke 15:7; NIV)
It is very tempting in ministry as a whole, to have a "just numbers" mentality and focus solely on "the turn out" rather than focusing on the quality and impact of the ministry.
The average church size is 100 people, so it doesn't matter if you have 2 Junior High / Middle School girls, 5 High School girls, and 1 Young Adult girl within your Youth Ministry, you need to branch off into a "Girls Ministry" to help minister to the girls unique and individual needs.
One of the pros of having a smaller Girls Ministry, is that you can realistically give each girl the personal and individual ministry time that they need!
