Is Summer a good time to start a Girls Ministry Bible Study ?

Many families travel during the Summer season and won’t be in town regularly. So this is definitely a con to starting a Summer Girls Ministry Bible Study.

However, probably most families cannot afford to take vacations over Summer or send their girls to Summer Camps, etc.

A huge pro to starting a Summer Girls Ministry Bible Study, is that many girls and their parents, would be so thankful to the Church for providing a free, safe Summer activity for them to be involved in and would support it (and the Girls Ministry) 100%!

Free Summer "Vacation Bible School" programs, have unfortunately become a thing of the past in many local Churches, and Church attendance / involvement has suffered as a result.

Remember, happy children = happy parents. And more importantly, happy people in Church = happy God. (see Luke 9:10-17; 46-50)
